If you could ask Amelia Earhart one question, what would that question be?

Did you know there are many stories behind the origin of Valentines Day? The Catholic Church recognizes at least three different Saints named Valentine (or Valentinus) - but the modern origins of the holiday centered on love date to the middle ages and the first Valentine card is said to be a poem written in 1415 by Charles, Duke of Orleans, to his wife while he was imprisoned in the Tower of London. Another origin story for the mid February date of Valentines Day is that is the time said to be the beginning of bird's mating season - love and music combined in the trees. The first mass-produced Valentine Cards began being sold in 1840 and from there spread to flowers, chocolates and romance we recognize today.

I wanted to let everyone know that in a few short hours, well be talking with project guest Brad Meltzer on our podcast and hes working on something very exciting. Something that I think will help change the world. Based on the hugely popular I Am series of books, Brad has created the LEGO Ideas I Am Amelia Earhart set that he hopes to get enough signatures to release officially. As of this post we need 2,035 signatures to make it happen. I know there are a lot of Amelia Earhart fans in Atchison; how amazing would it be if we could be the ones to push it over the top?! It doesnt cost any money, only a minute of your time to register for a free LEGO account and click the support button on the page below. Give us a hand in making a real hero come alive for our kids to play with, dream with and soar with. Thanks everyone; as always if you have any questions please let me know. All the best!
