City Announces CDBG-CV Awards

Earlier this year the City of Atchison was awarded $132,000 of funding through the Community Development Block Grant COVID-19 Small Business Grant Program (CDBG-CV). The CDBG-CV Program is funded through the federal CARES Act and is intended to support small businesses that have incurred hardship on account of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Out of 19 applicants, 12 local businesses submitted documentation to certify their eligibility for the CDBG-CV program. All twelve of those businesses, listed below, are receiving an award.
