The search for a new City Manager is marching toward a conclusion with two finalists scheduled for a day of tours, writing exercises, and interviews this Thursday, January 20th.
The two finalists for the position are:
- Amy Finch, originally from Ottawa, Kansas and current City Administrator for the City of Crookston, Minnesota.
- Joe Warren, former editor/publisher with the News-Press Media Group (including the Atchison Globe) and current Assistant City Manager for the City of Atchison.
The Atchison community is invited to attend a happy hour style gathering at the Atchison Event Center from 5:00 to 6:00 PM on Thursday to meet and greet the candidates. The event is open to the public and will feature hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar.
