Federal Pandemic Unemployment Compensation
Important information regarding unemployment benefits from the Kansas Department of Labor:
The Federal Pandemic Unemployment Compensation (FPUC) program, which provides an additional $600 weekly payment for unemployment insurance claimants, is now live.
- Claimants may have already seen this payment in their accounts in the last day or two. Others can possibly expect it to show up next week.
- Retroactive payments will be coming soon.
- Anyone who is eligible for UI benefits will automatically receive this additional payment.
