The 2021 Atchison Community Survey is being postmarked today so look for it to arrive in your mailbox over the next week or so. While we cannot guarantee every address will receive one, we’ve done our best to utilize existing 911 and utility addressing databases to cover the City of Atchison.
The survey is 54 questions long and has been sent with a postage-paid return envelope to encourage participation. Residents will get to provide feedback on nearly every aspect of city government. The questions cover topics such as quality of services, public safety, code enforcement, infrastructure, parks and facilities, utilities, economic development and city communications.
The surveys will come from the ETC Institute, a Kansas based company with an outstanding record of performance in surveying and reporting community feedback. Residents are encouraged to respond to the surveys within a few days of receiving them. Once enough surveys have been received to provide a valid statistical representation, ETC Institute will compile the results. The results will be released to the public once received by City officials.
A link to an online version of the survey is included below for those who did not receive a mail-in copy or for those who would simply prefer to fill it out online. The online version will not count toward the results if you’ve already filled out a mail in copy, so please do not fill it out twice.
