Commercial Street Mall Canopy Repair

Summary: The concrete canopies that line the 500 and 600 blocks of the Commercial Street Pedestrian Mall are over 50 years old. More than a few sections of the canopy pillars have started to come apart and staff has growing concern about pedestrian and vendor safety during special events.

Cost: To preserve the integrity of the bidding process, we avoid publishing detailed engineer’s estimates prior to the bidding process.

Funding: This project has a $35,000 budget and will be entirely funded by the City of Atchison.

Location: The Commercial Street Pedestrian Mall (500-600 Commercial Street)
