Riverfront Splash Pad Replacement Recently Completed

Summary: This project completely reconstructed the splash pad located at Independence Park on the Riverfront. After 15 years of service life, the existing splash pad had worn beyond repair with several nozzles and spouts that were nonfunctional. The completion of the project means that come spring/summer, the Riverfront will feature a fully functional splash pad once again!

Cost: About $25,000

Funding: The Atchison Riverfront Foundation has agreed to provide all necessary funds to complete the splash pad replacement project.
