City Hall will be closing at 1 p.m. on Friday, July 19, for electrical and plumbing work related to the Police Department renovation project. The closure effects all business operations in City Hall and all employees.
Construction officials said they would need to turn off the electricity and water for a four-hour period in conjunction with local utilities officials as part of the construction process. The afternoon of July 19 was identified as the least-impact time for residents during the construction workweek.
The building will be open from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. that day, then re-open for normal operating hours on Monday, July 22.
