At this time, County Offices have now reopened to the public.
Board & Commission Meetings are resuming via social distanced requirements. City Commission Meetings are now conducted in person with a virtual option to join.

City Hall access is now open to public, although still operational by staff members during normal business hours (8am – 5pm).
Municipal Court sessions have resumed to in person sessions.

The City of Atchison has resumed regular loan payment schedules.

Beginning in October 2020, the Finance Department has resumed collection of late fees for utility payments. Residents may make utility payments in person, online cityofatchison.com, or by calling 913-367-5500. You may also drop off utility bill payments from 8am – 5pm at the drop box located in the south corridor of City Hall.
If you are interested in contacting the Finance Department for a financing schedule as we return to normal payments, please call 913-367-5500.
In the event of an emergency, inform 911 of any flu like symptoms you or your family may have had in the past 72 hours or any recent travel. If possible, wear a mask when our crews arrive; if not, we will provide one. Also please meet our crews at the front door if possible.
The Atchison Public Library is reopened as of June 1st.
