2nd Street Intersections / Division Street Curbs

Summary: This project will construct a series of concrete intersection transitions on 2nd Street (Parallel, Laramie, Kearney), replace the wheelchair ramps at 2nd & Kansas, construct a new sidewalk from Benedictine College to the Atchison Community Health Clinic, and replace two blocks of deteriorated curbs on Division Street (7th to 9th).

Cost: About $80,000.

Funding: This project is funded entirely by the City of Atchison, although multiple funds and line items will be utilized. $40,000 will come from the Sidewalk Corridor Program line item in the CIP, $20,000 will come from the Brick Street Repair line item in the CIP, and $20,000 will come from the Curb and Gutter Replacement line item in the Wastewater CSO CIP.
